Gregory Drotar


GREGORY DROTAR has a long and distinguished career that includes choreographic, directorial, and performing credits. Most recently the Artistic Director at the Buffalo Ballet Theatre in Buffalo, New York, Gregory was also a guest choreographer at La Traviata Chautauqua (New York) Institute, and choreographer for Piano Concerto No.2 and The Nutcracker Waltz of the Flowers. His performance credits include Jerome Robbins Les Noces, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, and the Four Temperaments. Gregory’s performance credits also include Broadway film: Bob Fosse’s Dancin’, Mame, and The Magic Box. In 1978, Gregory was a recipient of the Dance Ambassador’s Award, previously accorded to Gwen Verdon, Bob Fosse, and Liza Minnelli.
