VISION STATEMENT ~
The
Metropolitan Ballet Academy commits itself to establishing,
communicating, and maintaining an artistic vision of the
classical ballet and to expanding ballet as an artistic
presence in the larger community of the Twin Cities. To
that end, we seek to serve the community and the individual
dancer by establishing a professional ballet academy that
will offer professional-quality ballet training to all students,
regardless of age or ability.

What
is your syllabus/training style?
Vaganova, the Royal Academy of Dance with American influences.
Our instructors are among the finest in the region and include
certified instructors and professionals.
Does
ballet help other athletic and dance endeavors?
Yes. Gymnasts, skaters, professional football players and
jazz/modern dancers incorporate ballet as part of their
training to develop strength, balance, and flexibility.
Am
I too young or too old for ballet?
No. While it is common to start a child at eight years or
before, training can begin at any age. We offer leveled
professional training and Adult Open Ballet classes.
When
can I register myself or my child?
Registration can be done at any time and tuition will be
prorated. Placement will be determined by audition.

The METROPOLITAN BALLET 2009 International Trainee Program
is lead by principal dancers and instructors from England,
Bulgaria, Venezuela, Germany, Russia & the US. Program
includes mounting a full evening of ballet. Fees:
50% of Annual Tuition (Scholarships Available).
What
scholarships and/or discounts do you offer?
Girls: Based on need and talent. Boys: Full scholarship.
20% discount on the lesser tuition amount when you enroll
more than one child.
